Monday’s snowfall is proof that this late season skiing is going to be a winner.  Deep deep snow depth, another approaching storm with snow to low levels and long days of spring skiing ahead.  Wahoo!Some quick pics of the state of the XC at Perisher.

Perfect time to get out back country or to utilise the groomed tracks out to Porcupine Rocks and Wheatley Gap.  Snow is deep allowing access to most places.  Make the most of this stunning season. 

The snow continues to fall!  

Almost end of July and the snow cover is excellent.  With early July snowfalls and wind to fill in the lee slopes we have been experiencing excellent conditions.  This last week produced cold clear nights and still clam days.  All the xc ski tracks are groomed and trackset.  Along with the new nordic shelter extension you are just missing out if you are not xc skiing at the moment.  More snow forecast too!
