When the Winter Olympics were held this year in Whistler, British Columbia the teams experienced conditions that frustrated their professional wax technicians. Big wet flakes fell on the tracks and the temperatures hovered around zero Celsius. They gave up on their expensive waxes and resorted to an old solution that has returned to help.

McCall was an absolute blast. From the moment the Australian arrived bearing gifts of Bundy Rum and “KANGAROOS NEXT 25 KM” signs the place livened up.

By this evening, the Aussie team should be complete in the World Masters Cross Country held in McCall Idaho and pawing the snow, waiting for our first race on Sunday 2nd March. We made the local papers big time (more…)
